The Artist is Present

The amazing Marina Abramovic at MOMA. The MOMA site is streaming live video of her daily performance in the museum. The piece is titled, "The Artist is Present". Abramovic sits across a wooden table from an audience/viewer/participant in a red dress, silent and still. The duration for each person is as long as they can sit and endure her intense presence. I hope to sit across from Marina in May and experience this first-hand.

Performance & Digital Media

A collection of images - still and moving that demonstrate the incorporation of drawing, performance and video into compelling works of art that inspire me.
